Remote Viewing at its Best!

Remote Video Management:

One of the most popular features of Technologies is the ability to remotely view any combination of security cameras, live, with a PC, laptop or even a PDA. This feature allows you to discretely access the on-site video surveillance system and select any combination of cameras to view and control. All this is accomplished without any indication on-site that you are watching.

The system allows all types of functions remotely, including:

  • Multiple Camera Viewing with Auto Rotation:

    View any combination of cameras 1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 16, 22, 25

Note: Any camera can be called up to full view by double clicking on that specific camera feed.

  • Multiple Camera Viewing from Different Locations:

Up to 25 cameras on 1 screen, from one location. Up to 12 different locations!
  • Video Playback:

Remotely playback video clips one camera at a time, or from multiple cameras... you choose.
  • Digital Picture Adjustments:

Easily adjust each cameras brightness, saturation, hue and contrast.
  • Digital Zoom on Fixed View Cameras

Quickly zoom in to areas for a better look with our digital zoom tool.

System Setup

  • System Design:

Security cameras are installed in the areas of concern. A coax cable is connected to the camera and the cable is ran back to the on-site computer and connected to the inputs provided by our capture cards which are installed in the computer.

The Technologies of software is loaded on the on-site computer, turning it in to a professional grade Digital Video Recorder (DVR). The DVR is connected to either a phone line, or the internet using a high speed service such as ADSL or Cable. Access to the system can be controlled with our password feature. You can actually assign specific cameras for each user. If a remote user is not granted a specific camera they won’t even know it exists.

    Remote Connections

  • Company Network:

The system allows you to connect the DVR to a companies network and load our work station software on other PC’s connected to the network. The work station software requires each user to sign on with a name and password. The password allows a system administration to control each users access to specific cameras and individual system functions. This design allows the DVR to be installed in a secure server room or electrical closet but have the convenience of accessing and managing the system right from your office PC.

  • Broadband Internet:

With ADSL or cable, the on-site DVR is connected to the internet through the network connection on the back of the DVR. The internet provider will assign an address to for that connection called and IP address or number. Operates with both “static” and “dynamic” IP addresses, but static addresses are much more reliable and dynamic addresses require periodic maintenance every couple of weeks. We recommend using static IP address. The DVR can then be access using nothing more than a remote PC connected to the internet and opening your web browser (ie: Internet explorer) and typing in the IP address. If the password features are enabled the user will be required to type in their User Name and Password before access is granted.

  • Dial-Up:

Our remote access software is loaded on the remote PC or Lap Top which is connected to a standard phone line. The phone number which the on-site DVR is attached to is loaded into our remote software along with the users name and password. The system then automatically dials the number, connects with the on-site DVR and starts streaming the live video to the remote PC. This type of connection is useful with four or less cameras. If more than four cameras are to be viewed remotely we highly suggest you use the internet with a ADSL or Cable connection. The reason is the amount of data that one video frame consists of is equal to a 50 page word document. In other words if you want to transmit multiple frames of video per second (10-12) you must use a communication link that can handle the large amount of data like ADSL or Cable.

If you would like to test drive one of our remote systems, please call us during business hours. We'll be glad to help!
